Mark Carens, a seasoned PGA Tour caddie from Wellesley, Massachusetts, has spent over two decades inside the ropes. After a short playing career that included two Boston Open wins, he shifted to caddying in 2002 and quickly built a reputation as one of the most respected and trusted caddies on Tour.
Over the years, Carens has worked with some of golf’s top names, including Bubba Watson, Si-Woo Kim, Brendon Todd, and Aaron Baddeley. His calm presence and deep knowledge of the game have made him a valuable partner to players competing at the highest level.
Since 2021, Carens has been on the bag for J.J. Spaun. Since teaming up with Spaun, Carens has played a pivotal role in that partnership’s successes—from Spaun’s first PGA Tour victory at the 2022 Valero Texas Open to the crowning moment of his career: winning the 2025 U.S. Open at Oakmont, highlighted by a dramatic final‑hole 64‑foot birdie that sealed Spaun’s first major championship. Their partnership continues to thrive, with Carens’ experience and insight playing a key role in Spaun’s success on golf’s biggest stages.
Matt “Rev” Minister is a veteran PGA Tour caddie from Worthington, Ohio, and a former collegiate golfer at The Ohio State University. He transitioned into caddying after college and has worked with top players like Nick Price, Chris Kirk, Sangmoon Bae, and most notably Patrick Cantlay. Minister was on Cantlay’s bag for all eight of his PGA Tour wins, including during his 2021 FedExCup victory and PGA Tour Player of the Year season.
In 2024, he began caddying for Justin Thomas after the departure of Jim “Bones” Mackay. Known for his calm presence and deep experience, Minister is respected across the Tour for his strategic mind and strong relationships with players.
In addition to his success on the course, Minister is well-liked among fellow caddies, players, and fans for his professionalism, thoughtful approach, and easygoing personality. He brings a deep understanding of the game, not only from his years on Tour but also from his time as a competitive player himself.
Off the course, he enjoys music, attending live concerts, and spending time with his family. Whether in high-pressure major championships or weekly Tour events, Minister’s presence on the bag is seen as a steadying influence—someone who brings both strategic insight and emotional balance to the team.
